外白渡桥是上海苏州河上有名的一座钢结构桥梁，很多民国时期的电影上都会出现，上海话中称坐船过河为”摆渡"，今日外白渡桥正处在当年苏州河溯流而上的第一一个渡口附近，当地人习惯把这个渡口叫做"外摆渡或"头摆渡"。由于公园桥过桥一律不收费，上海方言里以“白”字表示不用付钱的意思，“白”字又与“摆”字的发音近似，久而久之，“摆渡”变成了“白渡”，这就是外白渡桥的名字的由来。这里拍照也很好看，桥当中是车行道，两边有人行道可以拍照。

外滩的显眼地标之一，上海人的“外婆桥”，出现在很多影视剧中，还是很漂亮的。我是把老静安到黄浦的苏州河沿线完整地走了一遍才发现原来浙江路桥的结构也是这样。因为钢结构的关系，光影下的桥面非常迷人，如果是夕阳西下的时段应该更好看。
