An amiable little church in the heart of Gamla Stan, Stockholm's old town. Also called St. Gertrudes, it was the first German ecclesiastical parish outside of Germany when it was established in the 1550's to accomodate the numerous German tradesmen of the time. We're not fervently religious people, but there's something awe-inspiring about old chuches. It can't hurt to step in and light a candle for family or a friend... Or for the world :-)
