The walls of the Guanyin Temple are covered with beautiful murals all related to Shaolin Fist. These murals were painted in the late Qing period and were by the hands of the folk anonymous artists. The northern wall was painted by the Qing Dynasty Minister Yuan Qing, who was visiting Shaolin Temple to watch the performance of the monks' hands and fists. The south wall is painted by the famous martial monk Zhanju and Zhanluo Guidance Temple monks armed fighting scene; there are two groups of paintings on the east wall, the story of the 13-stick monks saving the Tang king in the north, and the story of the Shaolin monks fighting the Red Turban Army in the end of Yuan Dynasty.
