Dongwangyang Fort (Portuguese: Fortaleza da Guia), also known as Songshan Fort and Dongwangyang Mountain Fort, was built in the 17th century. It is located on the ancient Fort of Dongwangyang Mountain, the highest on the Macau Peninsula. It is one of the eight scenic spots in Macau and one of the oldest existing Western-style Fort complexes in China. The East View Lighthouse is the first lighthouse in China's coastal region built by a Macau native. There is a telescope next to the lighthouse for tourists to overlook the city. The lighthouse was built in 1864, the first lighthouse on the Chinese coast, and the coordinate value of its location is also the geographical positioning of Macau on the world map. The building is a cylindrical structure with a diameter of 7 meters at the bottom. It is divided into 5 meters up, the total height is13.5 meters, the white wall is red, and the majestic. The Church of the Snowdonia of Notre Dame was built in 1622 and has the architectural characteristics of the 17th century Portuguese monastery. After the renovation in 1996, the original appearance of the church and the hall was restored. The main hall is rectangular, its length is 16 meters, wide 4.7 meters, the walls on both sides are thicker, the purpose is to support the arched inner roof, the outer roof is laid with red tiles, the roof ridge is7.06 meters high, and the mouth is4.8 meters high. During the renovation, murals covered for a long time were found on the walls, which blended the characteristics of Chinese and Western culture and had extremely high artistic value. Dongwangyang Fort, Dongwangyang Lighthouse, and Notre Dame Snow Temple Church are one of the three major monuments on Dongwangyang Mountain. The opening time is 9:00-17:30 and it is a World Heritage List.
