The status of Jingfu Palace in Korea is equivalent to that of the Forbidden City in China, but it is much smaller than that of the Forbidden City in China. Jingfu Palace is also a large part of the central axis building complex, from the Guanghua Gate, Xingli Gate, Diligence Gate, Ideological and Political Palace, Jiaotai Hall. The northernmost end is the Qianqing Palace, and what is more known is that the Empress of Mingcheng, the last empress of the Korean Dynasty, was assassinated here by the Japanese. In addition to the imperial garden, there is basically no vegetation, all covered with yellow sand. That is because the emperor was afraid of being assassinated and covered the ground with yellow sand, so that as long as the assassin stepped on the ground, he could make a noise and be found. The entrance of Jingfu Palace is on the left and right sides. From the direction of the Folk Village Museum, the entrance is the East Gate, which is convenient to go to Sanqing Cave. Two younger sisters at the door took pictures or posed for them. They all posed gracefully. You can find them to experience Korean clothes, the price is, it says, 10,000 Korean dollars. Now you can follow the Chinese tour guides to visit Jingfu Palace three times a day, 10:30, 13:00 and 15:00, each time about 60-90 minutes. You can consult the Chinese tour guides at the ticket purchasing office. You can also rent a Chinese commentator for 3,000 won a day.

It has three courtyards, one within another for different with a central palace in each. The place is big and houses two museum as well. It will take 3-4 hours at minimum to explore it fully.Don’t miss the Royal guard parade and ceremonies

One of the finest (must visit) places in Seoul to witness ancient/historical times of Korean history and culture! Very well maintained. Easily accessible from metro station. Loved walking around the palace premises and witness the historical vibes. It feels so good to be here if you’re a history loving person! Also, the admission is discounted for those with physical disabilities and free to those wearing Hanboks (the traditional Korean attire than can be rented just outside of the palace at various shops).
