Haixinshan is the largest saltwater lake in China and the island in the center of Qinghai Lake. The island is not developed for tourism. There are several nuns and practitioners practicing on the island. There are no hotels, shops or restaurants. To go to Haixinshan Island, we can only walk or drive to the island after freezing in winter. From any of these three points, we can walk about 30 kilometers towards Haixinshan Island. It's simply an exploration route (it's very dangerous to cross the ice surface, don't cross the ice claws to avoid breaking the ice surface). Because in winter, many public transportation around Qinghai Lake has disappeared, so it is very difficult to go to the shore of Qinghai Lake. Generally, it can only be chartered with the local people. The Island lacks fresh water, and only one well can produce less salty water, barely surviving. Material is also in short supply, and the only electricity comes from poor solar installations. The island is dominated by grassland, with some yaks. Yak dung can be used as fuel. The buildings on the island include Lotus House and a golden statue of Lotus and Peanut Master 30 meters high. There are many legends and miracles on Haixinshan Island. Previously, nuns and practitioners on the island waited every winter for the lake to freeze before hiking across the Qinghai Lake to reach the shore. After preparing for one year's supplies, they returned to the island and never went out of the island for another year.
