The Big Buddha Temple is a landmark building in Koh Fan, located on the north side of Koh Samui. The Big Buddha Temple is the largest temple on Koh Samui and the patron saint of Koh Samui. If you arrive in Koh Samui by plane, you will surely fly over the historic temple over the city when you land at Koh Samui Airport. The road between Koh Samui and Fen Island is connected by a reclamation. Since the homestay I live in is located in Banglake Beach, also known as Big Buddha Beach, you can walk to the Big Buddha Temple to visit. The Big Buddha Temple is dedicated to a golden Buddha statue, about 12 meters high, and it is very spectacular in the strong sun of Koh Samui. In addition to the Big Buddha, the temple also worships various Thai gods. Many local residents come here to worship, and the religious culture is strong.
