在山西省泽州县太行山麓，有一座拥有两千六百多年历史的古镇—大阳古镇。大阳古称阳阿，历史上秦皇在此置县，汉承秦制且封侯于此，西燕设此为郡，它先后为县、侯国、郡的治所长达八百余年。大阳明清时期仕官如林，当地民谣“有官不到大阳夸”、“大阳出了三斗三升芝麻官”都真实的反映出了当时大阳的文运盛兴，仕官迭出。同时大阳因手工制针业发达，被誉为“九州针都”。由西汉至明清，大阳的历史上涌现出了众多的传奇人物，色艺双绝的赵飞燕，首创诸宫调的孔三传，耿介不阿、上万言书的茹太素，为国捐躯的武状元张大经等等，他们在大阳的历史上先后都画下了浓墨重彩的一笔。“古有阳阿之剑，可陆断牛马，水截鸿雁”，丰富的矿藏资源使大阳成为我国冶铁业的重要发源地之一。而大阳古镇不仅有冶炼铸造的阳刚豪气亦有轻歌曼舞的灵动柔美。从春秋战国到两汉魏晋，阳阿成为蜚声于世的歌舞之乡，“阳阿奇舞 ”、“阳阿薤露 ”成为了大阳文化艺术的辉煌。大阳古镇拥有规模宏大的明清古建筑群，被称为“中国古城镇活化石”。漫步古镇中，城池寨堡、街巷纵横、官宅商居、楼阁津梁、寺庙祠庵比比皆是，一砖一石、一草一木都散发出沧桑韵味。大阳古镇远处群山怀抱，气象万千。在壮丽的自然景观中，尤以“香山十景”最为著名。2008年被国家城乡建设部国家文物局授予“中国历史文化名镇”，2011年11月又被国家文化部授予“中国民间文化艺术之乡”，2016年成为“中国华侨国际文化交流基地”。



距离太原280多公里，开车三个多小时高速费九十多，买的夜场票，个人感觉古城适合夕阳西下的时候来欣赏古城优美，看了上刀山下火海的高超表演，太棒了，值得一看演出时间是下午六点半，建议看看，还有一起参与的祈福活动，夜晚七点半的打铁花也一样超级好看

古镇内商品价格很便宜，晚上的节目和打铁花值得观看，人不算很多。游玩时间大概2-3小时左右，周围吃饭方便，大米过油肉很好吃
