Huangshi Museum was completed and opened on October 1, 1979. In 1999, the Yellowstone Municipal Government officially established a new Yellowstone Museum, located on the east side of the People's Square in Tuanchengshan, Yellowstone City. Construction officially began on December 28, 2004, and the new museum was inaugurated on December 29, 2008, and it is open to the public for free. On December 29, 2008, the new museum covers an area of 20.58 mu, a total construction area of 6141.27 square meters, and a three-story frame structure. It is a museum with the theme of bronze culture. The museum is one of the ten demonstration bases for patriotic education in the province and is a key cultural relics protection unit in the country.
