Chongqing Huayan Temple is located in the Huayan Temple Scenic Area, Jiulongpo District, in the southwest suburbs. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers. It is majestic. The temple is composed of three parts: Huayan Cave, Connection Hall and Huayan Temple Building Complex of Da Laoshan. Since the Ming Shengke ancestors, they have often covered thousands of days of Zen Guan, and hammered countless scholars. The temple is now the seat of Chongqing Buddhist College and Buddhist Correspondence Department. Huayan Temple is known as the Bashan Spiritual Land, the first temple in East Sichuan, and is a national cultural relics protection unit.
