Huguang Pavilion was built on the small island in the heart of the lake, located in the north of Moshan, south of Tingtao Scenic Area. It is connected to the land by Shili Changdi, formerly known as "Zhongzheng Pavilion", built in 1931 to commemorate Chiang Kai-shek's 45th birthday, and later renamed "Huguang Pavilion".
