The mosque is one of Brunei's most important mosques and the largest mosque in Brunei. It was built to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the current Sultan's accession to the throne, and even the current Sultan's name Hassanal Bolkia is directly named. The mosque is large in scale, consisting of the main building and minarets, with 24k pure gold plated on the main vault and the surrounding minarets. The mosque is large, but many places are not allowed to take pictures, there are storage cameras and free robes counters. There is also a Muslim library inside, the books stored can be called ancient books, it looks very old. Outside the mosque is a large fountain garden, the sun is shining, but the inside is very cool. Foreign famous mosques are generally built by water, or with lake, or river, or sea, or with their own fountains. The purpose is to cool down the heat.
