Traditional Hanok, very feeling. There you can also experience traditional Korean crafts, such as winemaking, Korean paper making, ga qian, etc. Some open Hanok can be accommodated. If you have the opportunity, you can experience it. Walking on the quiet street at night, occasionally you can see traditional Korean restaurants or very atmospheric cafes. The streets are decorated with warm lights. Walking slowly, the whole person will become quiet, and I want to walk like that unconsciously. The house where we lived (I forgot the name) Hanok has a long history. It is a traditional Hanok, which has a sense of history. We also make bibimbap and try on Korean clothes. That yard is my favorite, there is a small pond in the yard, there are goldfish (the kind of quite big goldfish) and a few lotus leaves, in the morning sitting by the pond watching the goldfish in the pond swimming and playing, I don't know how comfortable; There were flowers in the corner of the yard, and there was a small running water flowing from the side to separate the flowers in the corner of the yard, which reminded people of the landscape of the flowing water and flowers; In a row of Hanok at the end of the large and small sauce jars, black jars make the small courtyard look more warm and more lively. I can't help but think how good it would be to live in that environment forever, then all the troubles will no longer be the problem, as if the whole life will become quiet and safe.

Korean countryside is unmatched, without a doubt the most gorgeous place I've ever visited. I encourage everyone to make the trek down.

Jeonju has the largest hanok village in South Korea. The village had over 700 houses during the Joseon Dynasty. I also enjoyed seeing Gyeonggijeon Palace and the outdoor museum. The best part is getting a panoramic view of the entire traditional village from Omokdae, a memorial pavilion on a hill.

I have always wanted to visit Jeonju Hanok Village. And yasss I had a chance to stay a night there last May and it was sooo nice no words can describe. Love the Hanok(s)! And I even saw Na Hee Do’s house in 2521 (iykyk). Didn’t know it was located near Jeonju Hanok Village. As a fan of 2521, I was extremely lucky 😅

A traditional folk village in Jeonju, very well maintained and organized with many unique stalls around.
