Jingyuan Temple, Ili Chabuchaer, Greater Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region: Jingyuan Temple is located in Sun Zhaqi Niulu Township, 6 kilometers west of the Xibo Autonomous County, Qabqaer, Ili Prefecture, Xinjiang. It was built in 1892 and is one of the more influential temples in the eight Lama Temples of Ili in the Qing Dynasty. It is now a key cultural relics protection unit at the autonomous region level, covering an area of 1.5 million square meters and a construction area of more than 2,000 square meters. The terraces of the entire temple are symmetrically and proportionally arranged, and the quaint nature is the epitome of the integration of Central Plains culture and frontier culture, fully reflecting the architectural art of the Xibo people, and also the physical witness of the Xibo people and all brothers and ethnic groups to defend the frontier and safeguard the unity of the motherland.
