Zengjiang used to be a village only for Chinese immigrants, but now it has become a residential area. Early Chinese people in Kuala Lumpur were forced to isolate and there was no Chinatown prosperity. However, Zengjiang was mostly the elderly Chinese, who were interested in recommending the culture of South Fujian.
Jinjang, also known as J-Town, is a township and Chinese new village in the Kepong constituency in north-western Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Jinjang comprises Jinjang Utara and Jinjang Selatan. It used to be known for the prevalence of gangsterism from the 1960s but is now a largely residential area.
