阳城县的九女仙湖是晋城古城之外一道靓丽的风景，位于太行山沁河峡谷之中，之所以叫“九女仙湖”是因为这里曾经传说玉皇大帝的第九个女儿也就是九仙女因为喜欢这里的山水，经常来这里嬉戏沐浴，于是当地的老百姓就把这个湖称为了“九女仙湖”。当然这个名字的由来只不过是一个传说故事，但是九女仙湖的美却真的值得称赞，来这里需要乘坐景区的环保车，车要经过一段蜿蜒曲折的山路，仙湖就在青山环抱之中，游客乘舟游湖，就好像来到了三峡一般，而这里的湖水却比三峡的水还要清还要绿，在景区中有很多水上娱乐项目，这里不仅是晋城最大的水上乐园还有山西最大的泉。小船设计的如画舫一般，在湖中穿行，就像走进了诗歌中的仙境，在不同的季节，还可以看到岸边玉树不同的颜色变换，还有一些垂钓的爱好者，在岸边早已经坐了很久，从他们悠闲的神态看去，似乎早已脱离了尘世的喧嚣。可以说九女仙湖是皇城相府周边最美的地方了，很多旅游团已经把这里当成了晋城皇城相府之外的第二个旅游景点，据说皇城相府的主人陈延敬，在每次回乡的时候都会从居住的相府约几个朋友来这里游玩，这位文渊阁大学士和友人在此把酒临湖，该是何等的洒脱，而我们后人在这里依然可以感受到这里的的美丽，体验历史的沧桑。交通：在晋城市客运汽车站乘坐到北留镇的汽车，下车后步行不远即到。门票：68元，凭有效证件购票40元，开放时间8点到18点。游览时间：3个小时。住宿：在景区就有农家院可以住宿，或者可以坐车到阳城县的皇城相府附近住宿。特色美食：各种面食、阳城烧肝、油糊角、肉罐肉等。周边景点：皇城相府、郭峪古堡、砥洎城。
