Kale Derya Review

Walking back to our hotel after a l-o-n-g day sightseeing in Istanbul, we stopped at the Kale Derya restaurant situated along the Kennedy Cadessi. We were pleased with the attentive service and long menu. We shared two mezza appetizers (hot chili spread and dolma), which were served to us quickly and were delicious. Next we shared the "Shepard's Salad" and it is one of the best salads I've ever had. Entrees were grilled bass (perfectly done) and sauteed meat (a delicious dish of beef sauteed with vegetables and cheese). Finally, we had baklava for dessert - perfect ending to a great meal.
