KoD Vesterbro Review

We had 5 girls on a weekend trip in Copenhagen and found this restaurant. Our expectations were not that high but we felt comfortable as soon as we entered. The food was good! We were satisfied and felt we had never eaten such a good thing before. Thanks so much for this amazing, delicious, memorable evening and all the wonderful future I will always be back and enjoy the best steak I have ever had.

Worth a visit, lovely staff, atmosphere and food is gorgeous! Be careful to book more than one restaurant on their website until we realised it in a taxi! Luckily we had a table.

We had our anniversary dinner at KöD Westber last week impressed by the meal. These people did a great job in making customers feel welcome. We skipped the starter and had Cote de KöD (700g Uruguayan beef for 2), mashed potatoes and Caesar salad on both sides of steakfrites la KöD for us for a cocktail drink and beer. Our dessert was served with warm jam French chocolate cake. House bread with mustard sauce is outdated. Steaks are semi-cooked rare (although our orderly medium) and both sides are amazing, especially mashed potatoes (super cream and pimp a little bacon!) waiting staff are polite and friendly. Dessert was good but didn’t mind blowing. Our total bill was about DK 930. Overall we loved our experience in KöD Westber.

I was excellent at the Danish Ridge. With delicious bread and crisp vegetable salad. I had only a small amount of bread from carbs so chip for me, but it was a good steak with pepper sauce I was happy. Be sure to go back next time with chili chips. Not cheap but worth it.

What a non-Danish tourist will learn here is that “KöD” means “meat” first thing. Well, this is what you will go. The food is good, so the atmosphere and service. Meat is perfect, don’t be ashamed to order it “rare.” The only thing I don't give the biggest rating is, sorry, guys, price. A big beer, some mineral water, started with steak (excellent Uruguay, by far not the cheapest option), some chips and carrots easily summed up to 70€.
