Kumamoto Bear Square (Kumamon Square) is located on the 1st floor of the East Hall of Trakaya Department Store. Kumamoto City Electric "Waterway" is just off the bus. In 2013, it was built by the Kumamoto Prefecture Government at a cost of about 46 million yen. It has an exchange area and a sales store around Kumamoto Bear. The best thing is that there is also an office of the bear minister.

在鹤屋百货东馆一楼，每周五六日会出现在kumamon square，具体时间可以上熊本部长办公室官网查看哦。需至少提前半小时入场占座位，最前排留给小朋友和家长坐的。部长会准时出现，现场气氛很high！在主持人带领下跳舞卖萌，不时调戏主持人，超级可爱！半小时一场，结束可以给萌熊拍照，因为时间关系不能和熊本熊合照哦～这里还有很多周边可以买，办公室里有部长的照片和得奖奖杯，可以进去合影哒

去这里主要是看熊本部长kumamon表演的，否则的话只不过是个卖周边的小店而已，而且种类也不多，熊本JR站也有卖不少。部长办公室不大起眼，下市电后去对面的商厦内（商厦门口也没个标记啥的，长得和一般办公楼一样差点不敢进去）。进门口再往里笔直走几步，左侧就是部长办公室了。表演不是每天有，得去官网查时间表。务必至少提前半小时进去，空间有限满了就不放人进了。我提前20分钟到勉强赶上最后几位放行的。表演半小时，很可爱。还会和坐前排的小朋友互动合影。
