The temple is located on the shore of the Song (Song ヶ) on the east bank of the lake of the temple in Nikko Nakajima. Zhongyu Temple Lake is located in Nikko National Park in Hemu County. It was formed about 20,000 years ago due to the rise of the male mountain. It is a high-altitude lake of 1,269 meters. When I was able to take a bus up the mountain from Nikko Station, the weather was still clear, but it started to snow when I went up the mountain.
