Lamu Old Town Review

Ramu is a thousand-year-old city in Kenya, and the buildings here are mostly mud-stone structures, which look very old. The lanes here are so many, interlaced like a big maze, and the feeling of disorientation is the charm of the old city.

Lost here is the oldest Swahili town in East Africa. Charming coral houses, proud kittens everywhere, cute children, and a centuries-old wooden gate are all the charming parts of the ancient city. The traditional Swahili residents, with their wisdom, sketch a life-rich town, really fascinating.

DON’T VISIT IF YOU HAVE A YOUNG FAMILY.the place is very dirty. you’ll spend most of the time walking in donkey poo and telling people to go away who are harassing you.Lamu feels dangerous and people will try to scam you from money.there’s better places to visit for culture. don’t bother, waste of money.

The old town of Lamu is an old town in Kenya, where houses and walls are mostly piled with stones and mud. Some of the substantial castle buildings have been centuries old and are rudimentary but are still very African. People here are more cheerful and satisfied, not because of the backwardness here and feel sad, but very happy, this may be the cheerful character of Africans.
