Langzhong Catholic Church Review

Located at the intersection of the ancient city of Langzhong and the residential community, close to Gongyuan, it is one of the earliest churches in Sichuan. Although it is a completely Gothic Western building, the appearance of red doors and windows, gray walls, and white crosses does not feel any sense of violation with the ancient city houses next to it. As in late autumn, yellow ginkgo leaves are scattered all over the place, very good artistic conception. The Mass here is on Saturdays, and the opening hours are very short on weekdays. It is a pity that I can't go in.

I went to Langzhong twice to live in the inn next to the Catholic Church, so it was easy to see this church. The church is a Western-style building, but I didn't get in to see it, just looked at the appearance, and didn't understand the relevant history and status quo. I can hear the church bells in the morning.

This is the largest Christian church in the southwest, the Gospel Church in China. This church is on the edge of the Gongyuan, and the high cross proves the existence of God, but it is not known when the ontological building was built. Because it is not a Sunday, the church's door is closed and cannot be accessed. The religious characteristics of the temple are that there are various infiltrations and independence, and the immortals of all parties do not affect each other. Since ancient times, Taoism, Buddhism, Islam, Catholicism and Christianity have been spread in the territory for a long time, and religious culture has become an important part of the historical culture in the region.

The Langzhong Catholic Church is one of the earliest Western-style buildings in Sichuan. It was also once the stationing place of the Red Four Fronts Army. There is a Catholic Church on the east side of the ancient city of Langzhong to the north of the long street. It’s just that the gate is closed and there is no chance to enter the observation.
