The land is a farmland on the north bank of the Lijiang River. There are barren graves and a temple. It is called Dongsheyu. It was destroyed in the Japanese army and fire during the War of Resistance Against Japan. After liberation, it was requisitioned by Putuo Hospital and was abandoned for various reasons. In 1957, the district organ to realize the concept of self-sufficiency, the place was received by the organ labor and production committee. The district committee launched voluntary labor for young people, reclaimed the ruins, planted fruit trees such as peaches, pears, apples, grapes, and dug the pool to raise fish, and established a "communist green orchard". In 1980, more than ten squares of land in the north were allocated to Putuo District Central Hospital, and the site was finally completed. In 1981, when planning the scenic area, the place as one of the three scenic areas of the area began to be built, in 1982 the construction design was initially completed, after two years of construction, in May 1984 opened, named Lanxi Road and Gongqing Orchard.
