It is still quite luxurious Jo ⑨① out of the Capitol. I went to the ⑨ Library of Congress on the side. This place may be relatively niche, but definitely worth a look, the interior is quite gorgeous! It is worth a visit here. After queuing up for security checks and entering the library hall (The Great Hall), I was shocked by the glory in front of me. Like a magnificent palace. Staff guided ordinary tourists to the third floor, overlooking from a high place, can take pictures, but can not enter it, is prohibited to speak loudly. The splendid and solemn main reading room (Main Reading Room) is the reading room that Nicholas Cage rushed through in National Treasure 2, and then found the president's "secret book" on the shelf upstairs. The treasures of the town hall can be seen in the first floor lobby: there is also an exhibition on the second floor of the Gutenberg Bible about the history of the American civil rights movement, and the Americans used the most gorgeous buildings to collect knowledge, which really makes us sigh. Tips: The library has three buildings, and we started going wrong. In fact, only the Jefferson Building is for visitors. The building is right behind the Capitol. From google map, it is located on the west side of the building. Free, entrance is required through security. There are clear instructions inside the Library of Congress, follow the underground passage, you can walk to the Capitol (to be security again, all water and food are not allowed to enter the Capitol)
