Lanzhou West Lake Park is located on the east side of Qilihe, between Xijin East Road and Binhe Middle Road. The original Mingsu Wangfu Garden, the name "Xiyuan", has been fought and burned. In 1880, Governor Yang Changjun was transferred from Zhejiang to Gan, and was rebuilt again. The meaning of the local land was changed to "Little West Lake", known as one of the eight ancient scenes of Lanzhou. Also known as "Lianchi Night Moon", due to historical changes, the original "Xiaoxihu" gardens have been unable to be restored. In 1982, Lanzhou Municipal Committee and Municipal Government in order to restore ancient cultural sites, balance the city green space, and build a comprehensive recreation park with local traditional style - Xiaoxihu Park.
