Liujiaxia Reservoir is also known as Qianling Lake because of its proximity to Qianling Temple. It is located in the southwest of Gansu Province, Yongjing County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, and on the dry river in the upper reaches of the Yellow River, about 75 kilometers away from Lanzhou City. There are many canyons and Sichuan land. The Yellow River came here, turned a 90-degree sharp bend, and then flowed west through the canyon, thus forming a wide river valley here, and then intercepted the water into this lake due to the construction of Liujiaxia Hydropower Station. Dongxiang County Xiaozifeng Danxia stone pillar is located next to the Zheda Highway in Dongxiang County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province, and is also a scenic spot in Liujiaxia Reservoir. Xiaozifeng also deduces a touching legend. According to scientific research, this Danxia stone pillar is composed of purple-red gravel formed by rapid accumulation in the river and lake environment 100 million years ago. The Liujiaxia Bridge is set up to cross the Yellow River branch ditch of Liujiaxia Reservoir. Liujiaxia Bridge adopts 536m single-span skeletal reinforced beam suspension bridge, Linxia side cable span 148m, Lanzhou Sichuan side cable span 138m, bridge length 568m. It is the largest bridge span in the northwest region.
