Longjing Village is located in the southwest of the West Lake Scenic Area, surrounded by mountains on all sides, showing the trend of north high and south low. The permanent population of the village is about 800 people, with nearly 800 mu of alpine tea gardens, the north-west peak of the village, the lion peak, Tianzhu peak form a natural barrier to block the invasion of the northwest cold wind. The south is Jiuxi, the valley is deep and wide, and it leads directly to the Qiantang River. The southeast wind in spring and summer is easy to enter the valley. The geographical conditions for ventilation and ventilation provide a unique advantage for the growth of Longjing tea. The Longjing tea produced here is the first of "lion, dragon, cloud, tiger". It is said that when Emperor Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River, he went to the Hugong Temple under the Lionfeng Mountain in Longjing Village to taste the West Lake Longjing Tea. After drinking, he was full of praise and sealed the 18 tea trees in front of the temple as "royal tea".
