Louvre Museum Review

No one museum in the world can compare in popularity with the Louvre, which is visited by about 10 million people annually. First of all, visitors are eager to see the mysterious "Gioconda", the legendary standard of ancient beauty — Venus de Milo and the marble figure of the goddess of victory Nika of Samothrace. But if you can calmly stand up and immerse yourself in contemplation in sculptures, then it is impossible to do this in the original portrait of the Mona Lisa. To get to the protective fence, you will have to squeeze through a crowd of tourists taking selfies. A small canvas (size — 77 × 53 cm) is placed under bulletproof glass, which gives reflections, so it will be problematic to see the features from a distance of several meters. Those who expected to experience aesthetic delight will be inevitably disappointed. However, there are other paintings by Leonardo da Vinci in the Louvre, and they can be viewed up close: "Madonna in the grotto", "The Annunciation", "The Beautiful Ferroniere", "John the Baptist", "Bacchus", "St. Anna with Madonna and Child Jesus".

Incredible. A place to view the greats, allow a good half a day here to not feel rushed and there is a small Cafe with a balcony accessible on the second floor if you need sweets and a coffee break, I couldn't find gluten free at all but I just needed coffee anyway. It's a lot of walking reading and learning but well worth the trip a total mind blowing experience. Recommended

Although we didn't go inside because the lines were insane and everything was sold out, just walking around outside was beautiful. People who are disappointed by paintings, sculptures, buildings have never actually put effort into making anything and simply can't appreciate the amount of time, effort and skill that was put into this beautiful place.

The museum's vastness meant I couldn't see everything, but I strategically explored the must-see art pieces, including the iconic Mona Lisa. all the money worth it if you are a big fan of art. I spent 5 hours and still it wasn’t enough. it is impossible to see everything with detail. But still worth for visit.

You must make advanced booking, very long queue but definitely worth it!! I recommend to go early so you can spend whole day in the museum! Museum lover this is for you!

It’s such an amazing experience visiting Louvre! of course we had to check out the legendary Mona Lisa! If you are into arts and history, definitely allocate a whole day to slowly appreciate each exhibit as the museum collection is extensive! It would be easier and more enjoyable if you also get an audio guide !
