Wuhu, located at the junction of Yanyuan County and Ningyi County, Sichuan Province, is jointly administered by Sichuan and Shanghai, Hudong is Yanyuan County Wuhu Town (formerly Zuosuo District), and Huxi is Yongning Township, Ningyi County. [1] The lake is slightly north-west and southeast, with a lake area of 50.1 square kilometers and a lake reservoir capacity of 22.52 billion cubic meters.[1][2] Wuhu belongs to the plateau fault erosion and subsides by the lake, and belongs to the Litang River water system of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, the tributary of the Jinsha River, the tributary of the Yaqi River. It is the highest-altitude lake in Yunnan Province and the third largest deep-water lake in China. The surrounding area of Wuhu is mainly populated by Mosuo, Yi and Pumi ethnic groups, and there are 7 ethnic Mongolians living along the coast, about 1.3 million people. Beautiful natural environment and strange national customs make this a famous tourist attraction.
