Matsumoto is not well known in China. In fact, it and Jilu, Kenishan and Yangen are four famous national treasure cities designated by the Japanese government. Matsumoto's Skyguard Pavilion is not as high as some other cities, so it looks as if it is floating on the water around the moat. There are cherries in spring, red leaves in autumn and snow in winter. Although I come here in summer, I have harvested endless greenery. On the other side of Tianshou Pavilion, the trees are shady, and rows of benches are in the shade, which is the best place to watch across the lake.
