Meichuan Park Review

Meichuan Park is the overall plan of Shanghai Garden Design Institute, the construction drawing design of Putuo District Garden Design Office, Shanghai Green Boat Garden Construction Co., Ltd. contracted construction, a total investment of 7.35 million yuan, started construction in 1999, and officially opened to the outside world in December 1999. Now by Shanghai Tuoling Garden Sculpture Engineering Co. Ltd. is responsible for daily maintenance management. The park reflects the theme of "people-oriented, green-based", emphasizes the harmony and unity of man and nature, adopts the method of plant landscape, uses more than 50 plants, and combines into a tree with the characteristics of multi-layered canopy as the skeleton, and the green landscape with plum as the theme tree species. Among them, the varieties of plums are lame plum, flower plum, white plum, pearl plum, plum, tea plum, celery leaf plum, bayberry, golden hazel plum and so on. In the long strip of park layout, with lawns and sparse forest square as two spaces, a bouldered trail through the garden and interspersed with flower beds. The chic hexagonal pavilion and sea of flowers and stone piles are fascinating, and the 200-meter-long pebble health trail is the most in the city. The park is set up with leisure facilities such as newspaper gallery and stone benches. Meichuan Park is presented in front of the public with its elegant style and vibrant modern style, becoming an ideal place for leisure and activities, and playing a good role in improving the ecological environment of Shanghai West Gate and the landscape around the Suining Expressway into the city.
