Mendenhall Glacier Review

Juneau is the capital of Alaska and a bigger city in the southern part of the state. We arrived at the cruise ship terminal and took a short walk to the downtown Transit Center bus station and hopped on a bus towards Mendenhall Glacier. The glaciers are always changing and shifting (now at a faster pace due to climate change). The park surrounding Mendenhall has a waterfall (Nugget Falls) and hiking trails as well. We took the same bus back downtown and walked around the city, grabbed some food to warm us up from the cold rain.

Juno's Mendenhall Glacier) The park has a huge glacier 2 kilometers wide, which forms a small lake, about 20 kilometers north of downtown Juno. There is also a waterfall in the park.

Glacier Park is the first stop to visit the attractions of Zhu teacher Nuo. The park is very big, and the park feels like a special surprise. The endless glacier can only be felt by you in it.

Glacier National Park in summer has a beautiful scenery. The peaceful lake like a mirror can be seen everywhere on foot in the park. The end of the hiking route with the waterfall is Avalanche Lake, which has only 5 steps to and fro. It belongs to the hiking route for young and old. I like Grinnell Glacier's 8-way hiking route best, along which the green lake water reflects various kinds of wildflowers, and then I can see the snow mountain with the last glacier hanging up, the cool wind blowing, people swimming in the painting.

门登霍尔冰川公园是朱诺的主要景点。门登霍尔冰川为典型的後退冰川，每年後退约27公尺。我们在冰川公园只能远眺冰川，可以走近门登霍尔湖和冰川右侧的瀑布。如果乘坐水上飞机则可以近距离观看冰川。虽然只是远眺冰川，但瀑布的气势和公园内的自然景观还是很值得观赏的。

冰川公园是到阿拉斯加每个人都会去的，特别是冬天，冰川公园面积非常大的，冰川和冰川下的湖泊形成动静两个景致，相当的有意思的，非常值得欣赏的一个地方
