Located 233 kilometers west of Prague, near Germany, Caroville is the largest spa sanatorium in Czech Republic, known as "Hot Spring Town". The first hot spring to be found here was Charles IV of the 14th century, which was his hunting ground. Caroville made a profit, meaning "Charlie Hot Spring". In the 18th century, it became a well-known social place in Europe, and was favored by many noble celebrities, such as Marx, Peter the Great, Beethoven, Wagner and Brahms. Today, Caroville is still one of the most famous resorts in Czech Republic. The Mill Hot Spring Gallery is the most wonderful one.
