[Dyer Abbey] Located on the top of a hill on the north side of the ancient city of Petra, it is the size of the building after the Kazny Temple, a shrine or royal tomb carved by the Nabateans along the rock, and was used as a monastery in Rome and Byzantine times, Maybe it is to fancy it away from the ordinary city, just meditation. For tourists, from the center of Petra Ancient City to the monastery, there are 5 kilometers of mountain roads, and it takes nearly 2,000 steps to reach it. The monastery of Dyer, the site of the Transformers, was built in 85 BC as a religious site for Nabateans to communicate with the gods, and was later transformed by the Romans into what it is now. The monastery is supposed to be the best preserved monolithic building in Petrari, in stark contrast to the Kazny Temple, which is built westward, representing masculinity and death, and is the place of worship for the male god Dushala. To the west of Dyer Abbey, there is the highest peak of Petra's ancient city and the best spot to watch the sunrise; on its northeast side, is the end of the road, towering cliffs, flying the Jordanian flag.
