Mount Kinabalu (Balu Shenshan), the first peak in Southeast Asia, at an altitude of 4095 meters, although the altitude is only more than 4,000 meters, but this mountain is located on the edge of the tropical ocean, and its suddenness is no less than the average mountain above 6,000 meters. Dengbalu Mountain requires a certain amount of expenses, a single person of MYR 1480, equivalent to about RMB 2,500, which includes five meals and one night. And mountaineering must be through a regular travel company, otherwise it is not possible to climb. At 6:30 in the morning, the travel company sent a car to pick us up. It took nearly 2 hours to drive from the city to the foot of Balu Mountain. At the foot of the mountain, the company arranged a guide for us, and the guide could only take five people at a time. There is a place to store luggage at the foot of the mountain to reduce the weight of the mountain. Climb on time at 10 am and arrive at C2 at 2 pm to rest. Dinner is a buffet. Get up at 1:30 in the morning and start to climb to the top at 2:30 after breakfast. The two main equipment for climbing to the top are gloves and headlights, because night travel and climbing rope locks are required. Although the climbing distance is not as long as yesterday, it is still tired enough, because the stone steps are a bit high, plus the altitude factor, sometimes a few steps need to stop for a few seconds. At 5:30 in the morning, it took 3 hours to climb the top. Today's sunrise fire clouds are really beautiful.
