Prince Kreb, a former prime minister, publisher and professor, has gathered five teak buildings for his family. He has also opened beautiful gardens on the land, which connect with an old canal. The room seems to be decorated the same as when he left. A huge library is on display. Tickets are 50 baht. Each person will get a self-service tour manual and a biography manual. This is a popular interspersed place in Bangkok. Good enough place, quiet garden to relax, away from busy streets, but dejected by ticketing ladies and the sour-faced Miss England (staff) sitting in the reception room. A look of contempt made me want to get 50 baht back! Either more enthusiastic or at least smile. Avoid this place and go to Jim Thompson's house.
