Muangboran (Ancient City) Review

Ancient Siam is a wonderfully transportive recreation of historical Thailand. Built in a rambling green park, the site features a multitude of the most important palaces, plazas, temples and forts from all over Thailand, all perfectly reconstructed with beautiful believability. Visitors cycle from place to place along wide roads under broad trees. Be sure to stop at the recreated floating market for lunch and climb the perfectly rebuilt mountain of the Prasat Phra Wihan national park; take in the view of Bangkok from the ‘ruins’ atop its peak. You may even encounter the odd buffalo along the way.
