Hesen still retains an old wall, one of the longest-preserved defensive walls in Switzerland, more than 900 meters long, and nine different towers are built on the wall. The tower above Zante Tower is the oldest clock in the city, built in 1535, and it enjoys the privilege of reporting the hour one minute ahead of the other bells in the city. The wall is a great place to see the scenery of the forest.
