4/5ExcellentOriginal TextThis is a magnificent museum located on the hill of Carcassonne, with shops and restaurants next to it. It takes about forty minutes to walk from the train station, although there is bus service. The castle is illuminated at night and looks more spectacular than during the day. Access to the castle and the city is free, but museums within the castle are charged.
