Nanjing Geological Museum is located in Zhujiang Road, Xuanwu District, Nanjing City. It was built in 1935, formerly known as Geological and Mineral Exhibition Hall. It is one of the oldest natural science museums in China and the first professional museum with geological and mineral resources as its main content. Its predecessor is the mineral exhibition room of the Geological Survey Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, which was established in 1913. It has a history of more than 100 years.
