I met deer and oak trees. The wonderful paradise came to Derby. My friend recommended to go to Calke Abbey. So my friends and I set off on a sunny day. At the end of the open green grass, there is an ancient monastery, surrounded by large trees, with a sense of vicissitudes. This is my first impression of Calke Abbey. When I walk into it, I feel more and more sacred. There is a long corridor inside, and there will be footsteps when walking. There are different styles of rooms on both sides of the corridor, with different types of furniture and oil paintings, and the decoration is very exquisite. Of course, some rooms are in disrepair and relatively tattered. This monastery is large in size, except for all kinds of carefully arranged rooms, study rooms full of books, large restaurants where no one eats, and other rooms that are not open. It also shows an ancient living object that allows me to imagine the daily life of the people who used to live in Calke Abbey. Out of the monastery, there is a lake outside, the lake is clear, surrounded by fences, the end of the lake is covered by lush trees. The lake and green trees soothed my body and mind. I was also surprised to find lively and lovely deer, who gathered around the lake to eat grass and play, not afraid of visitors. The tall oak trees around it have been growing for hundreds of years and this is a wonderful paradise. Warm reminder traffic: Calke Abbey is relatively remote, you can take a taxi or self-driving tour. Pay attention to the antiques inside.

It was a fun place, friendly and knowledgeable staff and a lovely garden walk. But in fact we paid for driving through the park, probably £10. It was frustrating to encounter this before we started playing. We knew the cost meant we could get into 600 acres, but all we wanted to do was visit the house and the garden.
