The three buildings in Athens, collectively known as the "Neoclassical Trilogy", are the National Library, the University of Athens and the Athens College. The building in the middle is the University of Athens, and the University of Athens has the main Greek gods on the exterior wall. The University of Athens is lined with the National Library and the Athens College. The National Library contains numerous ancient Greek books and literature. The Athenian Academy was built to mimic the Acropolis, with two pillars outside carved with armored Athena and musical instruments, and under the pillars were Plato and Socrates sitting
