The original site of Ningbo Art Museum is the passenger terminal of the ship terminal. It officially opened on October 11, 2005. The designer of Ningbo Art Museum is Wang Qian, the first Chinese winner of the Pritzker Architecture Award. As an aesthetic symbol of the millennium ancient city, like the old Bund where it is located, it has an artistic atmosphere that belongs to the port. Its construction area is 23,000 square meters. The scale is second only to the China Art Museum in Beijing.
