Old North Church Review

这里被称为波士顿最古老的教堂，建于1723年，虽然教堂不大，但历史意义和价值赋予了其更高的地位，这里也是波士顿古老又活跃的美国历史地标，教堂为乔治王时代艺术风格，其纯白色的尖塔非常醒目，这里还有一个著名的信号故事历史典著“如果从陆路来，点一盏灯；如果从海路来，点两盏灯”据说就是从此发送，教堂内还有一座华盛顿的半身雕塑像，后面有个小小花园

老北教堂的正式名称为“波士顿市基督教堂”，位于美国马萨诸塞州波士顿北区的撒冷街193号，为波士顿最古老、最活跃的教堂，已经被列为美国国家历史地标。

感觉这里应该是波士顿自由之路上最壮观的一个教堂了，虽然相比大教堂，这里的教堂较为迷你袖珍，但是其历史意义则赋予了它更高的观赏与历史价值，教堂白色的塔尖远远的便能一眼望到。著名的信号“如果从陆路来，点一盏灯；如果从海路来，点两盏灯”据说就是从此发送，因而该教堂也因为信号灯而闻名，教堂内还有一座华盛顿的半身雕塑像。

As you walk past the northern end of Boston, along the Freedom Road, after the scene at the Italian restaurant, you will see a huge left turn and then a giant statue of Paul Revere in the brick square near the Old North Church. You can see the church steeple rise in front of you. Take a moment to visit the interior to learn about the church and Paul Revere, and the famous “One on land, if it’s at sea”. It’s worth visiting this important part of American history!

Come to Laobei Church. There is nothing special about this church. There is no solemn atmosphere in it. During the daytime, the church is very bright. There are many children laughing and playing here. The partition which was once enclosed for a week has become a place where children have played at home. I feel a little sorry for this sacred place.
