Old Prison (Hualian Chengyuan Art Museum) Review

Hualien Old Prison is on Zhongshan Road. It has now become a street park for citizens to relax. But there are still leftover gun buildings in the four corners. The walls are very thick and are all reinforced concrete. There is also a lookout on the wall. Very durable.

The prison has been transformed into a museum that is unique and is now a rich source of art information

This is also the place where the original Taiwanese officials were political prisoners, and to be honest it is not worth seeing.

In the middle section of Hualien's largest Zhongshan Road, close to the road, so the prison moved, the old prison was transformed into modern art, some prison walls were retained, and the internal small facilities were added, plus modern art elements, and became the Chenghuang Art Museum.
