Built in 1765, this year marks the 250th birthday of the oldest house in Washington, and the house and its small garden look well maintained under the National Park Service's "care." Because it is so small, people will walk through it easily on the street and will not realize its importance. But it is really good for a quick tour to see how ordinary locals lived many years ago.
