Owakudani Review

if you are planning a trip to Hakone, Owakudani is a definite MUST visit! Before that, be sure to get your Hakone Freepass. You can hop on the cable car (free using freepass) and go all the way up to the top! The view is breathtaking

Takunggu is one of Hakone's many hot spring attractions, located in the south of Fuji Shandong, with intermittent volcanic activity and rich geothermal resources. When I didn’t reach the attraction, I smelled a strong sulfur smell and some pungent hydrogen sulfide smell from afar, and then I saw a thick cloud of steam that covered the sky and the sun hovering on the mountainside, the top of the mountain and the low altitude. The steam constantly erupts and makes a squeaky sound. The distant view is a light ink painting, the close look is thrilling, with strong visual impact of the dynamic picture. The specialty of Takunggu is clearly contrasted on its observation deck: on one side is a cloud of steam from a spectacular volcanic hot spring, on the other is a gem-like quiet lake set in the mountains, like hell and paradise! The black eggs cooked in local hot spring water must be eaten!

They said, eating a black egg will add 7years of life.. i ate 4 or 5, so i'm hoping that i will be living with additional 35 years 😆
