Parliament Hill Review

Capitol Hill is the office of the Canadian government and is not usually open to the public. Now there is a light show at 5:30 every night, through the projection color changing screen, with music, the whole performance is about 10 minutes, and the whole night is played.

Ottawa's Capitol Hill is also one of Canada's political institutions, this place is also quite a lot of buildings, are government agencies, is a Western model, this place is also a political center area, the surrounding facilities are very sound.

Although the East Side was under construction, I took beautiful photos of some buildings and Peace Towers. I also booked a tour of the East Side and House of Representatives online. There was a change of guards before 10am every weekday. It was a great experience to visit the House interior in person. There will be fireworks on Wednesday and Saturday evenings, with north-facing light shows every evening at 9.30pm.

Interesting building architecture and its history. It is a nice place to visit to learn more about Toronto.

The Capitol was initially built in 1859, but unfortunately the spectacular building was destroyed in a fire in 1916; the new Capitol was rebuilt in the same way and completed in 1922. The center of the Capitol stands the famous Peace Tower, which is 90 meters tall and is known as the world's most exquisite Gothic building and the tallest building in the Capitol. In the center of the square in front of the Capitol there is a Changming Fire Station built to commemorate the 100 years of the founding of Canada, which was lit on New Year's Eve 1967 and will burn for a long time. The fire table is surrounded by the insignia of the Canadian states and records their respective dates of joining the Federation. Beautiful building, some of the attached buildings around, and sculptures.
