Pyramid Square is named for the glass pyramid in front of the Louvre Palace. It is located in the front street of the Louvre Palace. There is a gold-plated bronze riding statue of Joan of Arc on the square. It is golden in the sunshine. Apart from this statue, the most famous one in the square is the glass pyramid. Designed and manufactured by Chinese architect I. M. Pei, the tower is 21 metres high and 30 metres wide. When it was first built, there was a great controversy. Most people thought that it was quite incongruous to put such a modern big man in the classical Museum of the Louvre Palace. But now it seems that this pyramid is definitely a creative breakthrough. Not only is it in harmony with the Louvre, but it also provides good lighting for underground shopping malls. Standing at the bottom of the pyramid, you can see the sky of Paris through the glass, which is very interesting.
