Powder Tower Review

Built in the 14th century and rebuilt in the 16th century, the gunpowder storage tower is 3 meters high and 3 meters thick. There are 7 shells attacked by Russian forces in the outer wall. Now it is the Latvian Military Museum.

This was virtually the first place I spent some time at in Old Riga, forming effectively a notable entrance at one spot to the Old Town.

The gunpowder tower, which was originally part of the Riga city defense system and is now home to the Latvian War Museum, is a mountain climber that changes with the seasons, and the cannon holes that show up make everyone who comes near it feel the vicissitudes of history.

The Gunpowder Tower is a Gothic gate in Prague's Old City. One of the city's landmark buildings, built in 1475, is designed and built according to the old city bridge tower of Charles Bridge. The only one of Prague's 13 gates has been preserved.
